Should fee answers on a tour be taken verbally?

No. Fees, what’s included, refund rules and placement decisions should come as a document or email, not a smile and a number.

Why ask about my child’s year group instead of the school in general?

Class sizes, support and even curriculum can differ a lot between Year 2 and Grade 10.

Do I need every answer during the visit?

No. A good admissions team will say “let me check and email you.” Note who promised what.

How can I check an accreditation claim from the tour?

Accreditation and programme authorisation can be checked on each body’s own website. CIS treats membership and accreditation as separate, and a COBIS “member” doesn’t always mean “accredited”.
